Awesome Cab! Thanks Cameron!
8 yrs in the bottle: looking and tasting great! Lot 604 has really let me jonesing for the next great cab so I rustled through two boxes of CH wines (from a 2010 order ... haha! who the hell can wait that long?) and pulled out Lot 189! .. my second last bottle : ( ... No matter, pulled the cork and drank hoping for instant gratification ... I was not disappointed! Paired it with a plate of hummus, red bell pepper, pita, cucumber, Dubliner cheese, and cold-cubed 3-day old leftover NY strip steak (and some salt). Perfect!! The color was still vibrant ... the taste was exquisite and lively, nothing super-long-lived on my palette but intense fruit and balanced with great tannins. Again, surprisingly alive for its age. Wish I knew how long to wait before opening the last bottle. Moreover, wish I had more of it to share with everyone. Thx again CH!

Concentrated taste, very nice
Still somewhat tannic. Need to decant for one hour. Plum, berries, cassis on the nose. Not a lot of nose but it is there. Medium tannins. Was great with steak. Very concentrated nose and taste. Can last for several more years.
