Wine Details
Decant for an hour or two. Blackberry/raspberry and spice nose turns bold and unabashed on the palate. Exceptional juiciness on the mid-palate, accentuated by the most expensive bulk Zinfandel I have ever bought. Ripe, racy, and muscular (and definitely needing some decanting), this beautifully integrated wine will continue to evolve considerably over the next year before settling in for a long life ahead. After 25 months in mostly neutral wood, this wine is all about the fruit.

Made with high-end blending components from a 20-year-old benchland vineyard, making for one of California's classic old-world blends. Petite Sirah and Zin are a marriage made in heaven here.
