Dear Friends,
What do you get when you combine Cabernet from the sub-appellations of Oakville, Yountville, and Atlas Peak (the latter from Stagecoach Vineyard) with some rocking Carneros Merlot? I doubt the phrase “great value” was the first thing to pass through your mind. Yet, here it is: Lot 357 2010 Napa Valley Meritage - an amalgam of some of the best terroir of Napa Valley for $18. Other than the Stagecoach Cabernet (which, let’s be honest, only comprises 4% of the blend), the list of wineries included in this blend reads like a who’s who of Napa Valley, with approximately 90% of the blend coming from the venerable appellations of Oakville, Carneros, and Yountville. Great value? Nay - exceptional value.
Beautiful, lifted nose of mint, cassis, and dusty black fruit with hints of black tea and olive. The palate is seamless, with juicy black fruit core and velvety tannins. Delicious. Compare at $50/bottle.
As a New Release special offer, if you buy before midnight on Saturday night, I'm taking 10% off a case, but our 25% off 24 bottles or more offer for the week still stands, so if you want 25% off two cases, enter coupon code 24FOR25 at checkout.
