Wine Details
This 100% Chardonnay has a beautiful, shimmering nose dripping with honeyed citrus blossoms, flinty wet stones, and orchard fruit that grows more complex and delineated with a little air. Its lush on entry riding forth on a honey-coated, diamond-crusted beam of minerality that echoes mouthwatering, citrusy stone fruit throughout the finish.

Sourced from a beautiful estate at the top of the hill of Lignorelles, which is just one of 20 wine-growing villages around the town of Chablis. The village is surrounded by vines, and offers a magnificent panorama over the Chablis region’s vineyards. The Kimmeridgian clay in which the vines are grown (limestone made up of a conglomerate of oyster fossils) is expressed beautifully in this archetypal Chablis wine. I recommend pulling out of the fridge a good 30 minutes before drinking. It will gain complexity for another 4-5 years but is drinking beautifully now.
