Every two years we announce a chocolate partnership intended to treat you to the best chocolatiers in the business. Our past partners have included award-winning chocolate mavericks including Christopher Kollar, Michael Rechiutti, and Fran's.
This year, after reviewing more than 50 different chocolatiers and their chocolates, we are thrilled to announce we have selected Christopher Elbow as our chocolate partner. Chris won our taste buds with his incredibly tasty truffles and his sumptuous Fleur De Sel Caramel Pecans, and his teams in Kansas City and San Francisco are a mirror to what we strive for - the best sourcing, the best tasting journey, and the best customer experience.
For our collaboration, Chris created a custom chocolate truffle exclusive to Cameron Hughes Wine: "Fig + Honey". Locally sourced honey is blended with puréed black mission figs and enclosed in a 63% dark chocolate shell for a sumptuous bite of pure pleasure that will be sure to satisfy even the most discerning sweet tooth.
