Blissful Blends

Blissful Blends

Explore the world of blends with these six bottles!

Virtually every wine--whether they tell you or not--is a blend, which makes many peoples' hesitations towards these styles of wine all the more intriguing. We've taken the guesswork out of it here with three wildly different blends that showcase the diversity and depth with which wines like these can be made. Lots 444, 457, and 509 each comprise completely unique blends of varietals that echo the work of California and Bordeaux's best.

Lot 509 2013 North Coast Meritage
93 pts & Best of Class, CA State Fair 2016; A terrific red blend of high-end Merlot, Cabernet, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Dynamite Bordelais style with a California twist, and a top contender for our red blend of the year.
Lot 444 2013 Napa Valley Meritage
92 pts, Steve Heimoff; 90 pts, Wine Enthusiast; Gold Medal, 92 pts, North Coast Wine Challenge; Gold Medal, 2016 Denver International Wine Competition; One of our best Napa Valley red blend values from the amazing 2013 vintage.
Award Winner
Lot 457 2013 Napa Valley Meritage
Wine Enthusiast Top 100 Wines of 2016 #23 (93 pts & Editors' Choice); 93 pts, Steve Heimoff; Double Gold Medal, SF Chronicle Wine Competition; A rich, powerful Meritage sourced from premier Napa Valley dirt.

Great value!

Enjoyed all 3 wines. Full body and aroma in a blend
CA wine that all can enjoy.

Good... and recommended... but not great.

I received these wines in the Sampler for $100 (plus tax and shipping... so not really $100).
I have now had one each of these 3 blends. The North Coast Meritage (509), although the lowest priced, was my favorite. I found the 2 Napa blends to be a bit tannic for my taste but I still enjoyed them. I would not rate them as highly as did the Wine Enthusiast.
All in all, a good trio at a reasonable price and will draw me back to CH for another round of other wines.

works well

The Blissful Blends were my introduction wines with Cameron Hughes. Lots 457, 468, 473, 510, were all excellent reds. If your not sure about joining us wine folks, the Blissful Blends are a great introduction to CH out!

YESSS

I love these blends! Blends are my favorite type of wine--by far--and I'm so excited that there's a pack here that features them exclusively! My favorite's the 448, all power, smoothness, and richness that both me and my husband enjoy!
