Cam Confidential

Zin Your Face is quintessential California Zinfandel, made from top-drawer blue chip vineyards in Lodi. These classic old vine vineyards lay low on the valley floor, soaking up California sun in the fruit basket of America. This release is our continuing collaboration with an outstanding producer in Lodi who has been with us since the beginning - he is a tremendous grower that provided us with the sourcing for Lot 1.

I sure am. This is great Zin - the Lodi roots are obvious. Creative label and name as well, great marketing.

Now that we are approaching pool weather this will make for a great wine to sit by the pool with a tray of cheese and crackers!

This Zin is smooth without the bitter edges right out of the bottle.

Tried this Zin 4 days after receiving it. Nice and smooth with prominent black fruit., but needs about an hour to open a bit. OK nose and good value for the price, although not near the best that Zin has to offer.

This wine was a wonderful surprise. As a rule I am not fond of Zinfandel but this one, I found, to be well balanced and smooth.

Here is a great example of why you love Zinfandels. It is big, dry and with a longish finish. It has loads of dark fruit and a great peppery finish note. Great with all things meat, but can still be enjoyed as a sipper.

Good taste, nice finish, could be better balanced.
