Wine Details

A wonderful bouquet of raspberry, blackberry, and exotic spice is followed on the palate by intense dark berries, chocolate, and a dry finish that lingers. Depth, complexity, and incredible value.

Cam Confidential

This wine comes from vineyards made up of ancient vines (some over 80 years old), and was made by one of California's most respected winemakers. Just under 100 cases of this wine has been on hold for a distributor and was never picked up, and has been sitting in perfect aging conditions for over 3 years. Their loss is your gain - the wine is showing beautifully, and is now one of the best bargains of the year!

For the price, I really enjoyed this wine. We'd go elsewhere for a special occasion, but it was a great simple choice for a nice post-work Happy Hour drink.

I like the term, "daily drinker," for this one.
Nothing special but a good value when cost is considered.

I'm not a big Zin guy but this one is a good value for serving at a large party without breaking the bank.

This wine was good for the price, but wasn't very memorable. Worth trying once!

Well, after reading all the reviews I was tempted at $8/bottle. Who can complain at that price right? Purchased a case and wasn't impressed. I've had many Lodi Zins that were just fabulous, but this Zin didn't do it for me and this Zin is nowhere typical of this region. Cam likely got a smoking deal on this juice.. Yes, Zinfandel is typically a fruit forward wine, spicy and jammy right? No spices just all fruit and way, too much fruit. It has not character and sorry my review is after it has all sold out. Maybe Cam dumped the rest down the drain? Try Cotes Du Rhone Lot 352, you will be pleased!

Shared with friends recently and we did not even bother to decant. A simple pass through the aerator and a few minutes made showed many great characteristics, I can imagine it only opens up the longer you let it breathe. Absolutely great Zin.

Good wine, great for the price! Goes nicely with BBQ food/burgers. Smooth, fruity and a tad dry I like to serve this wine at parties as it has that crowd pleasing factor!

I enjoyed several bottles of this wine a few years ago, and was delighted to see it available again - esp. a such a great price! And, it is even better now than it was then. Wish I had more storage room!
