Taste: This medium-bodied chardonnay presents the enticing fragrance of a violet scented candle followed by green apple and melon aromas. A symphony of farmers’ market fruit including pineapple, kiwi and white peach marry with slight toasty oak flavors and a fresh star fruit finish. You’ll know what we’re talking about if you’ve ever tasted fresh star fruit in Hawaii. Will pair well with grilled halibut, fish & chips or even try pairing with Hawaiian pizza.
Cameron Confidential: Santa Barbara County has become one of the newest stars in the wine world. A paradise with its picturesque rolling hills sits along the Pacific Ocean; it’s an ideal microclimate for world-class viticulture. Sourced from a super-premium producer located in the Arroyo Grande area and sourcing from Santa Barbara (they sell chardonnay between $18-60 a bottle). Known primarily for Burgundian style Pinot and Chardonnay, this wine is reflective of those values, balanced structure and oak. This wine has not gone through malolactic fermentation so it maintains its brilliant acidity. Phenomenal deal!
