Weddings

As we all know, buying wines for large events, especially weddings, can be extremely expensive while ending up with seriously under-performing goods. More often than not you end up paying restaurant pricing with a 300% mark-up.

Over the years, many of our customers have asked us about ordering wine for their weddings and anniversaries. Cameron Hughes Wine is happy to offer special discounts for your special occasion and will ship the wines directly to your venue.

While we understand how intense and confusing it can be to find the right wines for your event we also know that it is one very important way for you to own and customize your wedding without any extra cost. We have worked with many couples and large events, and we will be happy to help you choose which wines to serve.

Here are some of the additional services we offer:

• work with our CHW certified sommelier to help you pair wines with your menu
  
• assist in calculating the amount of wine needed for your event
  
• warehouse wines for up to six months prior to nuptial event
• direct ship wine to your venue

Note:  We recommend to save wine left for your first anniversary celebration or do order a bit more for such an occassion.  The wine ordered a year before will not be available a year later. And, it is nice to serve the same wine as you experienced on your special day.

Before calling to speak with our staff, please check with the venue regarding the rules for bringing your own wines. Most are happy to work with their clients and will simply charge a corkage fee (which is still less than the cost of buying wines direct while allowing you to add a whole new dimension of quality!). If you are planning a home wedding, even better!
