STEAL (affordable): Cameron Hughes Wine
So what goes in your cart at Costco? When I head to the huge warehouse, I'm usually there for one reason. Either the Cameron Hughes wine just hit the store, or I'm out of contact lens solution or Pelligrino. Cameron Hughes wine is the most quality consistent and affordable wine I've come across with most under $10 or $10+ for a $30-50+ quality blend. They source their "juice" from high-end, small available 'Lots' of super premium wine. Because not all wine at the high-end is bottled and sold, Cam rescues these 'Lots' and his wine-maker works the magic. Only available at Costco or his site - no winery, no distributor and no wholesaler which means cheaper wine at an unimaginable price! It's a great everyday wine and still ages nicely. I started collecting from Lot 10 and my Costo cart is filled with at least a dozen of the lots when released. They've released Champagne in the past for the holidays and carry all types of wine - white, red, rose. Quantities are limited and they sell out quickly so be sure to check their site for release info before you head to Costco.
