Cameron Hughes Wine in northern California produces single varietals as well as blends through his “Lot�? brand, which focuses exclusively on super-premium wines. Under the CHW label, a $25-50 bottle of wine retails for $8-15. In 2001 Hughes established a unique model: his wines are available only through Costco in California and Illinois and their on-line store, cutting out the winery, distributor, and wholesaler.
