Beautiful Dark Crimson with ruby rim. This wine is a densely packed smorgasbord of smoky cassis and menthol. The structure is rich and fruity, yet balanced with an unapologetic menthol/mint component that is seamlessly integrated into the wine. With a strong aromatic voice and dynamite mouthfeel, this wine boasts a long, unique finish.

A very unique (in this day and age) Cabernet experience. Sourced from a spectacular winery estate in the Maipo Valley (who produced some of the best wine we tasted in Chile), this wine has about two years in bottle and was purchased as a shiner (bottled wine, no label). Meticulously hand-crafted to reflect the gravelly, rocky, loamy soils from whence it sprang, this Cabernet is a brash and bold statement about the craft of Chilean winemaking. What Napa has worked so hard to eliminate in much of their wine, the Chilean's have embraced with the end result being a vastly more interesting wine. With a strong aromatic voice and dynamite mouthfeel, this wine is as it should be and it is delicious.
