Hey Texas! We’ve got some some new wines shipping to Texas for this weekend. We also have a special re-release of one of our most popular Cabernets. Lots of big, juicy red wines in this shipment that are priced right and ready for your immediate enjoyment! Here’s a rundown of what we have for delivery followed by which stores will get these new wines. Coming this week to select stores (additional stores will receive deliveries of this wine for next week) Lot 35 Napa Valley - Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon We get weekly inquiries as to the availability of this wine as it has been one our most popular cabs EVER.  It is drinking absolutely fantastic right now as many of you lucky folks who stocked up when we first released this wine are well aware. If you have not yet tried this wine it is most definitely one to purchase by the case. On the palate, a dusty earth emerges with black cherries, currant, tea leaf and sage. Currant fruit and chocolate will emerge over time. Interesting mineral components linger throughout suggesting a more Bordeaux -like structure and long aging potential. A brilliant, lingering finish offers well integrated tannins with a kiss of vanilla, white pepper and toasty oak. Coming this weekend to select stores ONLY – limited supplies on both of these wines. Lot 45 Hunter Valley Cabernet/Shiraz Bright colors and red fruits on the nose lead to a super smooth entry of cinnamon and red fruits. The palate is broad but with a backbone of acidity that carries this wine to a long finish of blackberry, blueberry and spice. Very fruit-forward and juicy - just like you would expect for a wine from this region. Lot 61 McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon This is a fresh, sexy Cab with black licorice and cranberry on the mid-palate and a finish that lingers with the flavor of savory chocolate covered strawberries. Its structure is well supported by velvety tannins that will mellow with bottle age. I know this one says “online only” on the web-site but like the Lot 58 Santa Barbara chardonnay we are releasing a bit of this to select stores for our special friends in Texas. Enjoy!
